I took a zebra, death, Venice Beach and a secret ingredient, thoroughly mix everything and threw it on a piece of wood and out it came this custom one-off longboard, designed for Orto (and a lucky winner). More about the whole project in the previous post.
Most recent project and my first as a fresh freelancer (yes, i have decided to go on my own :)) was designing a custom one-off longboard for “Orto podpira longboarde” project.
The board is now unlocked and waiting to get uncovered with your submissions into the draw to win it!
If the lucky winner will enjoy riding the stick half as much as i did working on it i’ll be happy.
There are also longboards made by other designers that are now available for free rent around Slovenia.
Decks shaped by Murksli. Campaign by the awesome Multipraktik Collective for Orto.
I’ll be taking part in the Secret 7” exhibition of record sleeves at Downstairs At Mother in Shoreditch, London on April 13th and 14th joining names like … wait for it … Ai Weiwei :), Gilbert & George, David Shringley and Hattie Steward just to name a few.
A week later on April 20th you’ll be able to buy any of the one-off record sleeves. And another really cool part … every penny profited is going to youth charity ART AGAINST KNIVES!
There is more to the whole concept of the show so i suggest you take a look at the video above. Thanks.
Another oldie :). Artwork for the 2011 edition of International Spring Summit Of Cheap Laser Graphics, Art Until The End.
I will be exhibiting at IMAM(O) PROBLEM ( I/WE HAVE A PROBLEM ) exhibition in Belgrade which is part of the international conference (Graphic) Designer: Author or Universal Soldier with my poster “Ubiquitous Greed”.
I strongly support the conference’s effort and focal point well described in these words: “… We, designers, spend all our time and energy on producing need for the things which are, at least, worthless… There are pursuits more worthy of our problem-solving skills. Unprecedented environmental, social and cultural crises demand our attention.
There will be many big names having lectures and workshops so if you have a chance go visit Belgrade March 27-30th.
It felt really good to forget about work for a little while enjoying vacation on Fuerteventura visiting friends from Manawai.
This trip we were pretty lucky with waves but as usual the best swell came right after we left.
The theme for this poster was 20 years of Golden Drum Festival taking place in Piran/Portorož. The statue of Tartini is symbolising Piran/Portorož and the golden drum is a symbol of….well yeah, Golden Drum festival.
It got shortlisted at Golden Drum festival (Piran Portorož Poster Award).
I am back from London where i went to get a new tattoo from a very special guest tattoo artist. It was fun couple of days but i wish i could stay longer to visit more galleries and museums and go around the city at a slower pace. Next time.
Addressing an issue of inadequate food self-supply (especially vegetables) in Slovenia.

A theme and title of one of LBAL’s zines i participated in with this illustration that is my take on the theme given.
You can buy the zine(s) here.
My poster “Soon It Might Be Too Late” (2009) was shortlisted and exhibited at The 10th International Poster Triennial in Toyama 2012, Japan. It is now a part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, Toyama.
